The Skye and Lochalsh Ski Club promotes winter snow sports with a particular focus on skiing and snowboarding. We aim to help the locals living on the Isle of Skye and nearby mainland access these sports, encouraging all abilities and ages to participate.
One of the main ways we help promote snow sports on Skye is by providing quality hire equipment at an affordable rate. We have a large selection of skis and snowboards available for hire, all are maintained by qualified members ensuring anything is looked after and ready to go.
We have an open membership policy meaning that anyone can join. Our membership fees are kept low to help keep the sports affordable for all.
Other benefits of club membership included insurance, all club members are insured when on the slopes. The club also arranges trips away sometimes a day in Aviemore or Nevis Range or a full week away in the Alps.
